We know that for the production of a product, in addition to mastering the correct operating methods, there are also some things to pay attention to. The IBC ton barrel we introduced today is no exception. In order to further promote users' understanding of it, we introduce the following precautions when blow molding IBC ton barrels:
1. The die opening clearance of formed tubular billet shall be adjusted evenly before production; The heating and temperature control should make the mold temperature slightly higher than the melt temperature (about 5 ℃ higher).
2. The extruded tubular billet melt should have a bright surface, no melt bonding marks (lines), and uniform wall thickness; When uneven discharge or large wall thickness errors occur in the tubular billet, the gap between the die and the core rod should be adjusted appropriately. When the wall thickness of the tubular billet changes regularly in the axial direction, a program control system should be used to control the movement of the core rod up and down, achieving a change in the gap between the core rod and the die, and realizing the adjustment of the axial wall thickness of the billet.
3. Before and during the production of IBC drums, attention should be paid to adding lubricating oil to the sliding parts of the moving mold, keeping the sliding parts clean and well lubricated.
4. Control the circulating water temperature of the cooling molding mold to around 10 ℃ to ensure that the working temperature of the mold is within the range of 20-50 ℃. If the wall thickness at the clamping mouth of the product is large or there are patterns on the surface of the product, it indicates that the mold temperature is low, and the mold temperature should be appropriately increased (such as reducing the flow rate of cooling circulating water to increase the mold temperature).
5. When blow molding IBC ton drums into products, the pressure of compressed air should be within the range of 0.2-0.7MPa. For thick walled products, smaller pressure values are used, while for thin-walled large products, larger pressure values are used.
For now, we have introduced some issues that need to be paid attention to when producing IBC ton drums through blow molding. If you have any other questions or do not understand anything about it, you can directly consult our professional staff, and we will provide you with satisfactory answers.
