The pallets for IBC drums are made of all steel, steel plastic, steel wood, all plastic, and all wood. The tray is mainly composed of a chassis, cushion blocks, and connecting plates (pipes).
1. Good impact resistance.
A simple chassis is a flat design consisting of one or several boards. It can only bear the load of the container in the vertical direction, but has no effect on reducing the impact force in the horizontal direction. A tray has been designed here. The advantage of this pallet is that it has good strength under strong vibrations of liquid cargo inside the container and transportation vehicles, as well as under impact and shock conditions.
2. Strong carrying capacity.
The integral chassis bottom that matches the bottom of the content container discharge flow is designed as a self-supporting structure, and the bottom of these reinforcing ribs is on a common horizontal plane. The stiffness of the steel chassis is greatly increased, and the reinforcing ribs are pressed out on the steel chassis, greatly increasing the load-bearing capacity.
3. Has an extension and support effect.
The shallow chassis has a downward extending outer support edge, which is connected to a flat bottom or lower frame at the reinforcement part and the support edge part, forming a cavity bottom with a closed or open cavity and a hollow support flange surrounding the outside. The chassis is fixed at the corner of the metal bracket or wooden tray, with its bottom on the foot and the middle foot. The belt edge bent from the downward extending outer support edge is used to support and fix the metal frame.
The wall thickness of IBC ton drums can pose a threat to their compressive strength
A good ton barrel, a quality standard ton barrel, and more importantly, a uniform wall thickness. The minimum wall thickness of a ton barrel is 1.6 millimeters, and it is unlikely that the thickness of a natural ton barrel will be completely uniform, but the difference is not significant and can basically be considered uniform. And the uniform thickness is a strong support point for the compressive strength of the ton barrel, so large customers need to thoroughly inspect the thickness of the ton barrel sold, taking this opportunity to clarify whether it meets the standard ton barrel.
